Here is a small collection of photos of John when he was younger, including pictures with his father, John Petrosius Sr. John was the youngest of four children and the only boy. John was a young teenager when he joined the Navy and later became a young father at the age of 19. He worked hard to raise his family, making a living as a house painter, musician, and writer.
These photographs capture John and his mother and father, as well as moments from throughout his life. They also include photographs of John with his father later in life, before his father’s passing. The two shared a very close and loving relationship.
John was also a dedicated student and graduated from the Long Ridge Writers Group in 2012, where his teacher was Sydell.
